About Para-Church Partners International
Our Story
Para-Church Partners International was founded on the conviction that faith communities have a critical role to play in addressing the mental health crisis facing our world today. For decades, mental health issues have been misunderstood, stigmatized, or neglected within and outside the church. We are here to change that narrative.
As a Christian-based, inclusive non-profit, our organization is committed to serving all people—regardless of faith, background, or circumstance. Our leadership team brings decades of experience in ministry, medical care, counseling, and community organizing. Together, we are driven by compassion, competence, and a deep commitment to holistic healing.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple yet profound:
To bring healing and wholeness to individuals with mental health challenges by mobilizing faith communities and delivering comprehensive care.
- Faith-Rooted, Open to All: While our foundation is Christian, our services are open to everyone. We believe in the power of love, acceptance, and service to all who seek help.
- Holistic & Integrated Care: We address mental health through medical, therapeutic, chiropractic, nutritional, and educational interventions, recognizing that true healing is multi-faceted.
- Community Empowerment: We partner with churches, faith-based organizations, and community leaders to educate, train, and empower them to support those in need.
- Bridging Gaps: We serve as a bridge between the resources of the medical and mental health communities and the unique needs of faith communities.
- Assessment and Referral: Comprehensive intake and triage to connect individuals with the right resources.
- Mental Health Care: Counseling, therapy, and psychiatric care provided by licensed professionals.
- Physical Wellness: Access to chiropractic care and nutrition counseling as part of a holistic approach.
- Education: Workshops, seminars, and resources for faith and community leaders on mental health awareness and advocacy.
- Advocacy: Reducing stigma, promoting understanding, and advocating for systemic change within the faith community.
